# BlurTap > BlurTap is an iPhone app that automatically finds and blurs faces, license plates, text and addresses in photos and videos, and removes GPS location data before you share. All processing happens on the device: photos and videos are never uploaded, and there is no account. blurtap.com also offers two free browser tools that run locally without uploading anything. Key facts: - Platform: iPhone (iOS 17 or later). Download from the App Store via https://blurtap.com/ - What it blurs: faces (photos and videos), license plates, text, house numbers and addresses - Video: faces are detected and blurred throughout a clip, no frame-by-frame masking - Batch: many photos can be cleaned in one pass - Location: GPS coordinates are removed from the exported copy; originals stay untouched in the library - Privacy: on-device processing, no uploads, no account - Free web tools: face blur for a single photo, and a photo location (EXIF/GPS) checker and remover. Both run in the browser and do not upload the image ## Free tools - [Blur faces in a photo online](https://blurtap.com/tools/blur-face/): automatic face detection in the browser, blur or pixelate, download without GPS data - [Remove location from a photo online](https://blurtap.com/tools/remove-photo-location/): shows the GPS coordinates, date, camera and serial number stored in a photo, then downloads a copy with all EXIF/XMP/IPTC metadata removed.
